The company’s new 2023 model will feature a unique engine design that’s meant to bring more power and performance than the current model while retaining all the safety and reliability features associated with the current model.
Honda says the redesigned bike will combine elements of all three generations of the Gold Wing, including the distinctive styling of the 2003 to 2010 model years, which Honda Goldwing accessories UK helped make the motorcycle one of the first truly successful designs among modern cruisers.
“The Gold Wing has been the flagship cruiser since it debuted in 2003, and it’s great to be returning to that market segment for the next generation,” said Dave Clark, senior vice president and general manager of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. “We look forward to bringing another milestone in cruiser history to riders worldwide.”
The return of the Gold Wing marks the first major update in three decades, since 1990, according to the manufacturer. Although Honda had announced in April that it would delay the next-generation bike for an unspecified period, the company decided in late June to release its official press release about the new Gold Wing, stating that the model will arrive in showrooms in early 2023.
