Joseph Ross, PMP. A devoted, hardworking, and true-hearted person never tired of taking care of his family even after 5-11 hours of work shifts. Mr. Joseph was the leading team member that successfully made the world’s first rapid test for Covid-19 while working in the medical device field. After this accomplishment, Joseph then went on to work for the informational medicine company Moderna which produces vaccines against Coronavirus. It was not an easy process to attain this achievement. It took hard work and perseverance.
 
Past Life
 
Joseph grew up in a humble background in Massachusetts, USA. At a young age, he was paralyzed from the left side, and he began to wonder if he would ever be able to use his legs and arms again. But God brought him back to life, and he was recovered. Later, he got a job in a warehouse for the minimum wage.
 
Always curious to learn more
 
Joseph was always curious to learn more. He always wanted to achieve something to provide for his family and decided to work hard, attain more knowledge, get up early and work until late at night. He knew that he needed to grind efforts. Continuous efforts are free and have the potential to beat talent. He spent sleepless nights attending classes and conferences while working full-time.
 
Joseph wanted to learn everything possible from his jobs. Before working at Moderna, he was a part of different fields, including residential construction, natural gas/energy, and medical devices. He was passionate about his work and gained much experience in logistics, quality assurance, and operation management. Besides, he was successful at leading diverse teams and comfortable in a room of cross-cultural people
 
Responsibilities of leading reconstruction team
 
Mr. Joseph was assigned the duties of leading the emergency response and reconstruction team when the unfortunate event of a gas explosion occurred in Massachusetts in 2018. Excessive pressure in natural gas lines caused a series of explosions. Several casualties occurred in the infrastructure, and many lives were lost, and thousands of people were displaced. As a leading member of the emergency response and reconstruction team, Joseph fulfills his responsibilities to help overcome the loss and help victims efficiently and promptly. 
Upon taking control of the situation, authorities commended Mr. Joseph for his dedication and invited him to speak at several statehouses about the incident. His social work becomes the cornerstone of his success.
 
Covid-19 hero
 
In 2020, Joseph got a chance to work in the medical device field. It was the time of Covid-19 outspread, and the whole world was unprepared for this pandemic and preferred staying at home due to strict notification and avoiding getting infected. Joseph decided to carry on his work and was part of the team that conducted the first rapid test on Earth for COVID-19. 
Despite many challenges with quality control, production issues, and non-stop work, it was possible to ensure its standard. While the production was in progress, work was divided into teams, with 2 shifts working 12 hours a day. Joseph was promoted to help oversee the manufacturing, make sure SOPs were followed, meet quality standards, and review batch records for millions of tests manufactured and sent out every week. 
Joseph showed that we don’t need to be famous to make a difference or inspire others. Ultimately, his efforts were valued, and Joseph was able to secure a position at Moderna (biotech/pharmaceutical field), a company that makes vaccines against Coronavirus.
