MNSAT - The International Conference on Micro and NanoSatellites

MNSAT brings together leading researchers in ICT for government and industry representatives, including decision-makers with an interest in using ICT for researchers focusing on ICT effects on ICT & electronics industry. MNSAT gather all public, private and civil society organizations from across the humanitarian and international development community. Participants share how they’ve used innovations in technology to increase the impact of their work. Highly interactive and hands-on, the conference attracts a diverse audience of technical advisors, executives, and others who offer a range of practical insights on applying technology to development, humanitarian, and conservation challenges. Also MNSAT will be focusing on major space and satellites industries along with satellites applications towards ICT and the innovation of technology, R&D and the concentration over the telecommunication, remote sensing and signal & image processing.

    Datiotec Aerospace, Mexico
KSF Space member & NEP Certified

Luis Gerardo Zárate is a member of KSF Space, computer engineer graduated from the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He obtained the Master of Science in Aeronautical and Space Systems degree at the Institut Supérieur de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace in Toulouse, France in the year 2014.

During his engineering studies he spent one year at the ENSEEIHT in Toulouse, France the year 2008.

Luis is a specialist in real time critical systems. He did his master’s end-of-studies project at Airbus developing an interface that allows the simulation engineers to use different 3D visualization tools with different simulation platforms. Since 2014 he has been working at Datiotec Aerospace / Edison Effect, leading different projects focused on the nano-satellites sector. Currently he is starting a new project with Datiotec Aerospace with the objective of developing an EVTOL vehicle.

    Holly Melear
CEO & Founder STEAMSPACE Education Outreach & KSF Space Partner

Holly Melear will be discussing the need to create a pipeline and movement of youth for the upcoming demands in the commercial and governmental space and technology industries. With our world changing and growing even smellers we globally approach living and working off-world, humanity will need to be planning on who will be leading and working in these communities. How do we create not just surviving communities, but thriving communities? By creating a movement of youth globally, who will be engaged with industry leaders, we can support the broadening pipeline for industry in free space and space settlement planning on the moon, Mars, and beyond.

In aspects of off –world employment, we will need workers ranging from asteroid mining, engineering, R&D, space agriculture, and architecture to list a few. However, it will not only be these more tangible and scientific needs for having a truly thriving new settlement off-world. We will also need all other fields of industry and employment to make this endeavor possible and successful. We will need the educators, the artists, and the out of the box thinkers. We will need those to help guide future generations on policy, treaty, ideology, and law.
